Engineers have just visited and repaired the communal TV so Sky and Digital Terrestrial channels should be working again. The old box had an electrical fault and burnt out.

Following earlier feedback from residents on the matter of a pedestrian crossing between the new ADC building to the hospital car park, across Hepple Close I am pleased to say that the Trust is no longer pursuing an option to install patient parking spaces in the Hepple Close staff car park and thus there will be no crossing.

You were recently issued with parking permits which need to be displayed when parked in your parking space at Hepple Close. Please note that the permits have a silver stamp at the bottom of the permit which the traffic wardens scan when visiting the site. The stamp is a security feature to prevent anyone making a fake permit. The pest controllers came on Friday and have started to take measures against the rats around our buildings. Here are some photos of what they've done. Please DO NOT encourage rats by leaving food out for the wildlife. Please DO report evidence or concerns or rats activity to KFH/Altus(our Property management company).

Following visits from the gardeners, drainage experts and the pest control teams increased efforts will be made to ensure we eliminate rats in the estate. This in part may mean some bushes close to the blocks are cut back further or removed altogether. Also please be mindful when disposing of fats and so on through the kitchen sinks. If there are any concerns or issues then feel free to comment in the forum.

FYI - I accompanied the pest control team around the estate today and identified several sources of concern, some reported by residents (thank you). I will ask KFH(Altus) to try to liase with the drain cleaning company, gardeners and the pest control company which are all involved in keeping the place rodent free. There was a completely blocked drain behind one of the blocks (disgustingly so) and if there are other drain related concerns then please let me know so I can direc
